Correspondence 3

Turncoat: Sorry I haven't contacted you in a while. Something is happening here and I've been having trouble finding any time to myself.

Specter: That's fine.

Turncoat: Anyways... So I'm still working on the plan. Progress is slow though. I have to be careful what I ask and who I ask it to.

Specter: That's fine. I still don't know what your plan is or what you need me to do for it.

Turncoat: Sorry I can't tell you the plan just yet. For all I know you could be captured or killed tomorrow and I can't risk any knowledge of the plan getting back to them.

Specter: Fair enough I guess.

Specter: Hey... You said knowing about you doesn't matter so why not tell me a little about yourself?

Turncoat: Well I'm not important...

Specter: I don't have much to do at the moment so might as well pass some time. Besides it will be easier to trust you if I know who you are.

Turncoat: Fine my name is Nathan Jilees. Though I am more well known by the name The Muffin Man. I essentially serve as an assassin or contract employee for The Fears. Though some adamantly refuse my service. Most especially The Archangel who has a grudge against me as I do him due to the nature of the events leading to me becoming a servant.

Specter: He was responsible for you becoming a servant?

Turncoat: Yes.

Specter: Then why would he hate you?

Turncoat: Because I didn't become his servant. I tried. He was about to shoot me and I begged for my life. He refused. It was some of the others who stepped in and stopped him accepting my service.

Specter: Oh... So he just wanted you dead?

Turncoat: Yes.

Specter: Wait if he's your enemy why is this plan targeting the slender man?

Turncoat: Easier target. This plan works I can bring down all of them. He's just a trial run.

Specter: Alright. Not like I'm complaining. I mean his death will make things much easier for me.

Turncoat: It will make it much easier for a lot of us.

Correspondence 2

Specter: Alright so I thought about it?

Turncoat: And?

Specter: Well things have been getting hotter lately. This might help get him off my back.

Turncoat: Are you saying you're in?

Specter: I guess so.

Turncoat: Good.

Specter: So why do you want to take down your master anyways?

Turncoat: He's not technically my master. Well at least not directly. I don't serve any one of them.

Specter: Oh... Still why?

Turncoat: Because of them everything has been taken from me. I joined them because I was about to die and it was my only chance but I hate them. They destroyed my family.

Specter: Damn. I don't really have a family so I can't really relate...

Turncoat: No conversation about your personal life. Anything you say could be a clue to your identity.

Specter: What about you?

Turncoat: If they find these correspondences they'll already know about me whether I reveal myself or not.

Specter: What do you mean find?! Are you recording these somewhere?

Turncoat: Yes.

Specter: What the hell!? Why?!

Turncoat: After the plan is complete I have to send these correspondences to my sister so she'll know what I did.

Specter: Your sister?

Turncoat: Yes.

Specter: I thought you said they killed your family?

Turncoat: No I said they destroyed my family. My father joined them, My mother was killed and I was forced to join them to protect myself and keep them from her. Now she's all alone in this world.

Specter: I guess I understand now. You better keep these safe though.

Turncoat: As long as you're careful you'll have nothing to worry about.

Correspondence 1

Specter: Why have you contacted me?

Turncoat: I need some help.

Specter: With what?

Turncoat: I have a plan. I need someone on the outside.

Specter: The outside?

Turncoat: A runner.

Specter: You're a servant?

Turncoat: Of sorts.

Specter: Why the hell would I trust you?

Turncoat: Because you won't have to trust me.

Turncoat: No part of this plan will involve us meeting or me ever truly finding out who you are. Hell even the part I need your help with I won't be requiring any knowledge of when or how you do it so no chance of leading you into a trap.

Specter: And what is this plan going to accomplish?

Turncoat: It's going to kill a god.
